Read More »Missouri S&T’s mass notification system is designed to alert S&T students, faculty and staff of an emergency or critical incident and consists of email, text and voice notification. Now, the notifications also will appear on computers on the S&T network. The desktop notification system, named Alertus, will deliver emergency notifications to all IT-managed S&T desktops and laptops, including classroom computers, faculty and staff computers, computer learning center (CLC) workstations, and computers in residential halls and Greek housing.
Read More »Missouri S&T has contracted with Rave Guardian to enhance the security and safety for campus visitors, vendors, and guests with an “opt-in” protocol for S&T’s mass notification messages. Vendors, visitors, and guests can text MinerEvent to 78015 and they will receive any mass notification messages generated by the University during the day they opt in. The opt-in expires at midnight.
