Mass notification system extended to computers

Missouri S&T’s mass notification system is designed to alert S&T students, faculty and staff of an emergency or critical incident and consists of email, text and voice notification. Now, the notifications also will appear on computers on the S&T network.
The desktop notification system, named Alertus, will deliver emergency notifications to all IT-managed S&T desktops and laptops, including classroom computers, faculty and staff computers, computer learning center (CLC) workstations, and computers in residential halls and Greek housing.
