Get your motor running, get your flu shot

Flu season is quickly approaching, and getting your annual flu shot is important as we continue to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help you get vaccinated in the safest way possible, Missouri S&T will offer drive-thru flu shot clinics.

Clinics will be held in parking Lot C-11, located across from Leach Theatre, on the following days:

  • 3:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1
  • 3:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14

Funeral arrangements announced for Ted Day

Ted Day passed away Sept. 14 at age 59. Day was a member of the S&T Board of Trustees and a strong supporter of the university and community.

Portion of Lot C-11 to close temporarily

The east side of parking Lot C-11, located across from Castleman Hall, will be closed Friday, Sept. 18, to allow for parking for the funeral service. The west side of the lot will remain open for Lot C permit holders.

Open forum planned on COACHE survey results

Encourage students to apply to speak at commencement

Graduating seniors, master’s degree students and Ph.D. students are encouraged to apply by noon Sunday, Sept. 27, for selection as a student speaker for their Fall 2020 commencement ceremony scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19. Two student speakers will be selected.

Proposal development assistance available for early-career faculty

Maria Shaub, proposal developer, will assist with activities including solicitation analysis, project management, narrative development and technical editing.
