Fikru co-authors study on decarbonization policies
Dr. Mahelet Fikru, professor of economics, co-authored a peer-reviewed article to be published in the December 2025 issue of Economic Modelling. “Optimal policies for decarbonization via carbon capture: Tax, subsidize, or both?” explores how governments can design effective decarbonization policies through emission taxes, carbon capture subsidies or a combination of both.
