Grants go to 11 projects for 150th celebration

Westenberg selected as ‘Humboldtian on campus’

The American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation selected Dr. David Westenberg, associate professor and interim chair of biological sciences, to serve as a “Humboldtian on Campus.” Westenberg was one of approximately 200 U.S. Alexander von Humboldt alumni invited to participate in the U.S. Humboldt Colloquium, held March 2-4 in Washington, D.C. The topic of the colloquium was “Global Research in the 21st Century: Perspectives of the U.S. Humboldt Network.”
