Library to host desegregation exhibit this October
This month, the Curtis Laws Wilson Library at Missouri S&T will host an exhibition on the desegregation of higher education in Missouri, created by the Missouri S&T archives and the State Historical Society of Missouri-Rolla Research Center.

All faculty are invited to an Early Career Faculty Forum focused on technology services provided by IT and the policies that S&T researchers need to know to use technology in their research. he State Historical Society of Missouri’s Rolla Research Center will host a free screening at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library. Area resident Donald Love will introduce two new short documentaries, Shannondale, By Heart and By Hand and Shannondale, A Forest Gospel.

Join history faculty members Dr. John McManus and Dr. Chris Ketcherside for a question-and-answer session at the D-Day Omaha Beach exhibition 1-2:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. They will discuss the American landings on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, as portrayed in the historical diorama.

‘D-Day, Omaha Beach’ traveling exhibit on display now
A new traveling exhibit, “D-Day, Omaha Beach,” will be displayed in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library from Friday, April 4, through Thursday, May 15. It is based on The Dead and Those About to Die, D-Day: The Big Red One at Omaha Beach, a book published by Dr. John C. McManus, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of history at S&T.
