I scream, you scream, free ice cream tomorrow
Dr. Chris Maples, interim chancellor, and his leadership team will serve free ice cream for students, faculty and staff 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. during MinerRama Friday, Aug. 24, on the campus mall near the Puck. Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader has been selected to serve a four-year term on the NCAA Division II Presidents Council, the organization’s highest governance office. The council sets the strategic direction for the division. Schrader’s term began Saturday, Jan. 21, at the conclusion of the Division II business session at the NCAA Convention in Nashville. As part of Missouri S&T’s ongoing commitment to ensuring open lines of communication, Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader is forming a new group this spring called the Chancellor’s Council. The council, made up of representatives of faculty, staff, students and administration, will meet regularly to vet new university policies and discuss other issues of interest.
