Two speak on helping struggling calculus students

Barbara Wilkins, an instructional designer in educational technology, and Paul Runnion, associate teaching professor of mathematics and statistics, presented a paper at the Joint Mathematics Meeting in San Diego in January. Bohner publishes book on time scales calculus

Dr. Martin Bohner, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of mathematics and statistics, is an author of a new textbook on calculus time scales for undergraduate and graduate students. Multivariable Dynamic Calculus on Time Scales, published by Springer International Publishing, is available as an eBook and a hardcover textbook. Bohner wrote the book with Dr. Svetlin Georgiev, assistant professor of mathematics and informatics at Sofia University in Bulgaria.
