Seven S&T faculty receive UM Research Board Grants

15 programs make U.S. News list of top online graduate offerings

Students interested in pursuing a master’s degree online have 15 nationally ranked programs to choose from at Missouri S&T. U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Online Programs rankings, released today (Tuesday, Jan. 9), include Missouri S&T’s online MBA program, 12 online graduate programs in engineering, and programs that are highly ranked in U.S. News’ non-MBA business and computer information technology categories. AT&T case competition coming to campus

AT&T is sponsoring a case study competition concerning smart city initiatives in November. Teams will get a case study from AT&T and one week to find the best solution to the situation. Teams must comprise four students and include at least one student in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business and one student in the College of Engineering and Computing. For Carla Bates, perseverance pays

Dr. Carla Bates, assistant teaching professor in business and information technology, earned her Ph.D. in information sciences and learning technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia this summer. Her achievement culminates a career of higher learning that began when she first joined Missouri S&T as a clerk typist in 1989. Read her story.
