Celebrate College Radio Day with KMNR 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Schuman Park. Enjoy free barbecue with the station’s DJs. Food will include hamburgers, hot dogs and vegan-friendly options. Games will be available. All donations for music requests will go to the Rolla Animal Shelter.

The Phelps for the Fort committee, which includes Missouri S&T and the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce, will host an Association of the United States Army (AUSA) barbecue 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Veterans Memorial Park in Rolla. The event is open to the campus community and reinforces the combined community and military strength of our region.
