The campus community is invited to provide feedback on candidates for Missouri S&T’s director of athletics and recreation. Forums have been held with three candidates. The fourth and final forum with a candidate will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 20) in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center.

The campus community is invited to attend open forums and provide feedback on candidates for Missouri S&T’s director of athletics and recreation. The first forum was held Feb. 14. Upcoming forums will be held:
- 1:30-2:30 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 17) in 305 Norwood Hall
- 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in 305 Norwood Hall
- 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center
Mullin announces plan to retire
Mark Mullin, who has served for nearly three decades as the director of athletics at Missouri S&T, has announced that he will retire from the position following the 2019-20 athletic season.

John Kean, sports information director at Missouri S&T, received the Great Lakes Valley Conference’s (GLVC) Dr. Thomas Kearns Service Award at a reception for the athletic conference May 22 in St. Louis. Also during the conference, Missouri S&T received the GLVC’s Dr. Joseph J. McGowan Visionary Award for the “Pioneers of Miner Women’s Athletics” program.
