Read More »Dr. Beth Cudney will give a keynote at the International Conference on Lean Six Sigma for Higher Education this June in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her keynote is entitled, “A Comprehensive Lean Six Sigma Framework for Higher Education”, will discuss a roadmap, based on Kolb’s cycle of learning, for improving the learning experience through the application of Lean Six Sigma in educational process improvement. Project selection guidelines will be presented to ensure appropriate scope given the semester time frame. Examples of successful projects will also be provided along with lessons learned. In addition, the coaching necessary to achieve significant results and foster team dynamics will be discussed. Through a comprehensive methodology that considers student learning, project selection, coaching, and team dynamics, students and higher education institutions can achieve significant improvements together.
