The University of Missouri System will host the Show Me Title IX Conference June 4-5 in Columbia. It is open to faculty and staff who work on UM System campuses and professionals from other Missouri colleges, universities and K-12 classrooms. Register online by Thursday, May 17. Careaga recounts branding journey from UMR to S&T

“The Elements of Brand-building in Higher Education: The Role of Strategy, Research and Internal Engagement,” by Andrew Careaga, executive director of marketing and communications, was published in the winter 2017-18 edition of the Journal of Education Advancement & Marketing. The invited paper describes Missouri S&T’s branding initiatives during the 2007-08 name change from UMR and more recent branding efforts associated with S&T’s strategic plan. Six members of the University Advancement staff presented a session titled “Creating Staff Sustainability” at the CASE District VI Conference held Jan. 24-26 in Kansas City, Missouri.
