Giving Day is April 24

Missouri S&T’s Miner Giving Day will be Wednesday, April 24. All Giving Day gifts will support Finish Line Scholarships to help students who are within two semesters of graduation cross the finish line to an S&T degree. Philanthropy Month kicks off

Missouri S&T students, faculty and staff are celebrating more than the coming of spring in April. They’re also spotlighting the spirit of giving by celebrating Philanthropy Month. Members of Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) and Blue Key will raise awareness of the importance of philanthropy throughout the month — and raising money for the Student Emergency Fund, which helps S&T students meet unexpected expenses. A crowdfunding campaign for the Student Emergency Fund launched April 1 and will continue throughout the month at crowdfunding.mst.edu. Learn more about Philanthropy Month.

University Advancement staff present at conference

Six members of the University Advancement staff presented a session titled “Creating Staff Sustainability” at the CASE District VI Conference held Jan. 24-26 in Kansas City, Missouri.
