Northcut earns Fulbright Specialist award

Dr. Kathryn Northcut, professor of English and technical communication, will travel to North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in February as a Fulbright Specialist. She will work with grant writers and researchers to expand their research capacity by sharing her experience with proposal development.

Students build with food donations in CANstruction competition

Participating in S&T’s Staff Council food and toy drive, the civil, architectural and environmental engineering department collected more than 4,500 food items, beating the previous department record of 3,100 items. Students entered the Architectural Engineering Institute’s national CANstruction student competition building three models completely out of the donated food items – a Christmas tree, Santa’s sleigh and a three-car train.

ID office announces winter break closure, relocation
