Missouri S&T has launched a national search for its next provost and executive vice chancellor with assistance from WittKieffer, an executive search firm. The search committee is co-chaired by Dr. Mehrzad Boroujerdi, vice provost and dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education, and Sue Simmons, trustee and Kummer Missouri S&T Foundation board member.

The civil, architectural and environmental engineering department is hosting a donation drive for Rolla community members who were directly affected by the tornado on Friday, March 14. Donations can be dropped off at the advising center in Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall or in the Havener Center 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.

S&T student organization donates over $10,000 for local tornado recovery
Missouri S&T’s St. Pat’s Board donated $10,168 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief in the Phelps County area following tornadoes on Friday, March 14. Abigail Hall, president of the St. Pat’s Board and a senior in chemical engineering from Hamel, Illinois, presented the cash donation to Rebecca Gordon, executive director of Central and Northern Missouri for the Red Cross, Tuesday, March 18, at First Baptist Church in Rolla.

The university is pleased to announce the opening of a new faculty and staff lounge located in Room 196 Toomey Hall. This space is designed for employees to enjoy lunch, hold informal gatherings, or simply relax.
