- Dr. John McManus, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of history, will appear in the History Channel’s “Presidents at War” show at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. Lecturer to examine culture of strength
Dr. Simon J. Bronner, Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Visiting Professor of Humanities, will present a lecture 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Dr. Nord Gale, the founding chair of the biological sciences department, passed away Friday, Feb. 1. Gale served Missouri S&T 32 years, retiring in 2000. A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
