“Suit Up” sale planned Feb. 9

Missouri S&T is partnering with JCPenney to help provide professional attire to S&T students at a discounted price. Students can save up to 60 percent on select dress apparel, shoes and accessories during the Suit-Up Event 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the JCPenney Store in Rolla. S&T student IDs are required for the discount. Missouri S&T’s Spring Career Fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18, on campus.

Missouri S&T got media exposure during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory celebration Wednesday in Kansas City. Some Chief fan (or fans) flew the team’s flag high during the event outside of Kansas City’s Union Station. And right below that flag was S&T’s. We’d like to find out who waved the flag so we properly recognize you with even more S&T stuff. Graduate student receives NASA fellowship

Andrew Hinkle, a Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering at Missouri S&T, is part of a select group of graduate students across the U.S. to receive a NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship (NSTRF).
