The coronavirus altered this year’s festivities, but the civil, architectural and environmental engineering students, staff and faculty team showed their Miner spirit and persevered. The department awarded more than 100 engineering degrees on Saturday, May 16.

Power outage rescheduled for Thursday

There will be a power outage on the east side of Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall beginning at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28. Power will be restored by 4 p.m. Thursday. Although the outage is planned for the east side, it may be necessary to disconnect the power for the entire building.

Flags to fly at half-staff

By order of U.S. President Donald Trump, all flags at state facilities will be flown at half-staff through Memorial Day weekend, in memory of the nearly 100,000 people who have died of COVID-19.
