Dr. Yinfa Ma, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of chemistry, was known for mentoring students to scientific success.

At Missouri S&T, student success is top priority. The Dean’s Leadership Council of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) wants to recognize faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the academic, professional or personal growth of their undergraduate students with its new “Dean’s Medal.”

The Dean’s Medal will be awarded annually at the Dean’s Leadership Council’s fall meeting to one CASB faculty member along with a financial award of at least $2,020.

Do you know a CASB faculty member who has gone the distance to support undergraduate student success? Nominate them for this honor by Friday, Oct. 30.

S&T faculty, administrators, staff, students or alumni may nominate candidates. Nominations from department chairs are encouraged. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
