Clarification on traveling guidelines, quarantine

An eAddition announcement yesterday (June 7) omitted the word “new” when detailing international travel guidelines for the S&T community. The message should have read: All new Missouri S&T students, faculty, staff and visiting scholars must quarantine for 14 days upon arriving in the U.S., regardless of vaccination status. This guideline applies to new students, faculty, staff and visiting scholars.

Missouri S&T’s information technology (IT) staff was notified that Rolla Municipal Utilities (RMU) will move fiber optic cable in Rolla’s 13th Street area Monday, June 7. The work will cause a network outage for the Pine Street Building and apartments at 1303 North Elm St. on June 7.

COVID-19 update: Guidelines for in-person summer classes

Missouri S&T’s COVID-19 Incident Command Team (ICT) has announced updated guidelines for in-person classes during the summer session, which begins Monday, June 7. These new guidelines align more closely with the latest direction from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and with campus guidelines for outdoor spaces, offices and conference rooms, and common areas.
