Ferdowsi named interim associate dean for research in CEC

Dr. Mehdi Ferdowsi has accepted the position as interim associate dean for research in S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing, effective Sept. 1. He is a professor of electrical and computer engineering and has been working with the National Science Foundation (NSF) as a program director since Sept. 2020.

Address to change for Google Groups

On Thursday, Aug. 4, the email domain for Google Groups will change from @mst.edu to @grp.umsystem.edu.

Sending emails to Google Groups with the @mst.edu domain will cause a delivery failure. You must use the new @grp.umsystem.edu domain to ensure the messages are received by your group members.

Royalties from patents on commercialized inventions and products bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in income every year for Missouri S&T. During the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2022, Missouri S&T took in a record $996,235 in royalty income, an increase of 38% over the previous year.
