Advertise your department to new students

New student programs is accepting advertisements for its “Plug into Green” movement. Each year, new student programs provides an interactive environment on a flash drive to over 1,300 students in the fall. Students will learn about campus organizations, departments, local businesses and the community through this flash drive. The format gives students access to advertiser websites and social media pages with a simple click, making information sharing easier than ever.

Samuel Frimpong to step down

Dr. Samuel Frimpong, chair of mining and nuclear engineering and the Robert H. Quenon Chair of Mining Engineering, will step down from that position but will continue to serve until a new chair is found. Dr. Ian Ferguson, vice provost and dean for the College of Engineering and Computing, plans to initiate a nationwide search for a new chair soon.
