Enjoy a performance of fairy tales and piano duets

“Fairyland in Treble,” a performance of piano duets mixed with fairy tales for children, will be held 2-3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in Hasselmann Alumni House. The event is free to attend. Refreshments and snacks will be provided and children are encouraged to bring along a favorite stuffed animal to accompany them.

Laurie Myers wins National Art Education Association Award

Laurie Myers, a lecturer in arts, languages, and philosophy, received the 2015 Carrie Nordlund Pre-K-12 Feminist Pedagogy Award from the National Art Education Association Women’s Caucus. The award recognizes art teachers who make a special effort to infuse feminist pedagogy into his or her teaching practices.

This 10-week course can earn first-time participants 100 points as part of the 2015 Wellness Incentive, which pays eligible employees up to $450 for taking steps to live a healthier life.

Gearhart is vice provost for eLearning and strategic partnerships at Ohio University. The forum will be held 2-3 p.m. today, Thursday, April 23, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Callers impersonate an IRS agent and claim the respondent has a penalty on his or her tax return, and then threaten arrest if the money isn’t paid immediately.
