A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Cook Station Community Center on Spring Lane in Cook Station, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Missouri.
Soper joined the Missouri S&T staff in August 1978 and retired in September 2010.
