The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies and the Research on Concrete Applications for Sustainable Transportation (RE-CAST) University Transportation Center have postponed a webinar by Dr. Kaan Ozbay, professor of transportation engineering at New York University, that was scheduled for Friday, July 1. The groups hope to reschedule the event later in the year.

This June, attend a free pre-retirement seminar designed for faculty and staff 10 years or less from retirement. The pre-retirement seminar provides faculty and staff with an overview of the UM Retirement, Disability and Death (RDD) Benefit Plan, the retirement process and more. In addition, this seminar will help you understand information displayed in a typical retirement estimate.

University Police has received complaints of attempted fraud related to unsolicited telephone calls. The department reminds the campus community to keep the following tips in mind when receiving such a call:

There will be a campuswide test of a new emergency mass notification system at noon Wednesday, June 15. The test will include a text message to students and employees saying, “This is a test of the Missouri S&T emergency mass notification system.
