Counseling services available

On Saturday, a shooter opened fire inside the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, killing 11 people. In the aftermath of this tragedy, the counseling services staff reminds the S&T community that counseling services are available for any student, faculty member or staff member. Student Financial Assistance closed Wednesday

New S&T minor in linguistics

As of fall 2018, there is a new minor available for enrollment for students in any degree program: linguistics. In spring 2019, two linguistics courses are available for enrollment: English 3304: Language in Society and English 3302: History and Structure of the English Language.
