Student Success Center seeking students for a focus group

Posted by on April 3, 2019

The Student Success Center wants to hear from YOU! Have you used the Student Success Center and/or its resources/programs? What did you like? What could be better? What other resources have you utilized? What has shaped your academic journey at S&T? These are questions we would love to speak to a group of students about. On April 17th from 3-4pm we will meet in Library 203 to have a casual, loosely structured conversation regarding academic support at S&T. If you are available during that time and you like FREE PIZZA, email kayla.thompson@mst.edu or call 573-341-4996 to reserve your spot before April 10th.

Counseling Services Groups still accepting members

Posted by on March 29, 2019

Counseling Services offers a wide variety of groups — safe spaces in which to gain awareness of self and others. The experience can reduce loneliness, normalize life events, promote change, and teach new skills. Groups help us learn how to connect with our own feelings while in the presence of others. Several of our groups are still open for students in April/May: Men’s Action Therapy, Test Anxiety, ADHD Support Group, Miners for Recovery, Graduate Support, Body Image, and Asperger’s Support. Stop by room 204 Norwood Hall for information or call 341.4211 to get the time and place for the next meeting.
