HR offers computer access for benefits
Don’t have computer access for the upcoming annual benefits enrollment or just need someone to give you a little extra help? Human resource services, affirmative action and diversity and inclusion has arranged to have a computer lab available for employees during annual benefits enrollment 7 a.m.-noon Monday, Oct. 20, and Monday, Oct. 27, in Room 105 Centennial Hall. No appointment is necessary and computers will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The mailroom would like to remind departments that move to a new location that they keep their four-digit extension on the 65409-XXXX ZIP Code model. Curtis Laws Wilson Library will hold a book sale 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the lobby of the library. Paperbacks will be $1 and hard covers will be $2. The library will also sell folio maps for $4. Come in and check out hundreds of items at unbeatable prices.

Thank you for participating in last week’s test of the Missouri S&T emergency mass notification system. Test messages were sent out by phone, email and text to 10,550 recipients at noon Wednesday, Sept. 24. By 12:01 p.m., the message was distributed to 100 percent of email recipients. By 12:10 p.m., it successfully reached 96 percent of text message recipients and by 12:18 p.m., it reached 82 percent of phone recipients.

The reservations department at the Havener Center will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 30, to move to a new location. During this time, the office will be unavailable. Please email any questions you may have to reserve@mst.edu and they will respond as soon as possible. Once the move is complete, the office will reopen on the first floor of the Havener Center behind the front desk.

University archives has hundreds of gently used standard -sizehanging folders to give away. Available colors include green, pink, yellow and blue. Go to the university archives in Room G-2 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library and help yourself to as many as you need. After 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, any remaining folders will be recycled.
