Students compete for a cause, help the Rolla Mission
A local sixth grader’s idea inspired an annual donation drive to benefit the Rolla Mission this holiday season. The materials science and engineering department collected more than 2,000 items for the local homeless community, marking one of its largest contributions to date.

Give back through Staff Council’s annual donation drive
Staff Council’s annual food and toy drive for the Greater Rolla Area Charitable Enterprise (G.R.A.C.E.) and the Rolla Chamber of Commerce has started. Collection boxes are available in buildings throughout campus and donations will be collected until Thursday, Dec. 19.

Faculty are invited to attend two virtual information sessions focused on the process of being nominated for a Curators’ Distinguished Professorship and a Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professorship. Both sessions will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11, on Zoom and will be hosted by Dr. Daniel Forciniti, associate provost for faculty affairs, as well as current Curators’ Professors and Curators’ Teaching Professors.
