Missouri S&T has entered into a new agreement for snack vending with the company Superior Vending of Rolla. Transition to the new supplier will begin during spring break, March 28 to April 2. All snack machines on campus will be removed and replaced with machines from Superior.

Information security is announcing the end of Lumension antivirus for S&T as of Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016. Before then, IT will need to remove the campus version of Lumension antivirus software from all systems. A letter of intent for the Innovation in Education grants is due to the CERTI office by Saturday, April 30. An email to certi@mst.edu is sufficient for the letter. Final proposals are due by Tuesday, May 31.

The Gaffers Guild will host visiting glass artist Tony Bodner on Friday, April 8. He will perform glass castings and various demonstrations in the Hot Glass Shop, located in G-3 Fulton Hall. Caught in the Act has now ended and Sarah Ellis, Total Rewards specialist, says it was a huge success. Caught in the Act is designed to reward faculty and staff members for demonstrating random acts of wellness. Between Jan. 18 and Feb. 29, a total of 187 wellness ambassadors submitted 632 random acts of wellness across the University of Missouri System. During this same time, a total of 52 new wellness ambassadors joined the program. “I am so pleased to have so many people take an interest in this program,” says Ellis. In the coming weeks, Healthy for Life will release a webpage devoted to Caught in the Act with examples of all of the wonderful activities that are going on around the university.
