Grad fair at S&T Store kicks off Oct. 19

The S&T Store will host a grad fair from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, and Thursday, Oct. 20. Save 10 percent on graduation regalia and diploma frames. Enter to win a regalia set or diploma frame. Meet with a Balfour ring and announcement representative from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meet with representatives from registrar services and career services. Need bloodwork done? PCRMC offers lab service

Phelps County Regional Medical Center (PCRMC) and LabCorp have entered into an agreement to offer in-network laboratory services. Missouri S&T employees can get a blood lab order from any physician drawn at Phelps County Regional Medical Center and processed by LabCorp, an in-network lab service with United Healthcare.

Bring old medication to drug takeback Oct. 21

Alumnus to speak about nanoacoustofluidics on Oct. 17

Mechanical and aerospace engineering will welcome to campus Dr. James R. Friend, a mechanical and aerospace engineering graduate and member of Missouri S&T’s Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers. Friend will present “Nanoacoustofluidics” 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in Room 199 Toomey Hall. The presentation is part of the department’s Centennial Seminar Series, celebrating 100 years of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Missouri S&T.
