Missouri S&T will soon begin a national search for the position of vice chancellor for research and dean of graduate studies. This position results from faculty suggestions to improve the integration of research and scholarship with graduate education. Combining the two offices and creating a vice chancellor-level position to oversee the efforts demonstrates the importance of both research and graduate studies at the senior leadership level.
