New faculty and staff lounge open in Toomey Hall
The university is pleased to announce the opening of a new faculty and staff lounge located in Room 196 Toomey Hall. This space is designed for employees to enjoy lunch, hold informal gatherings, or simply relax. Amenities include a refrigerator for storing lunches and snacks, a microwave, toaster oven, and water boiler.

Call for artists: Design the 2025 Celebration of Nations T-shirt
All Missouri S&T students, college students and K-12 students are invited to submit an original design for the 2025 Celebration of Nations T-shirt. The winning submission will receive honorary recognition during the festivities, an award certificate for the winning design and merchandise at the S&T store.

As part of the S&T’s celebration of Women’s History Month, the history and political science department will present a special lecture, titled “How women of study shape early American Egyptology: The pioneering contributions of Emma Andrews and Caroline Ransom Williams,” by Dr. Kathleen Sheppard. This free event is open to the public and will start at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 20, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
