Research office offers three new initiatives
The office of the vice chancellor of research has introduced three new programs for S&T researchers: a travel grant to visit funding agencies, a scholarly outreach program and a graduate student travel fund.

Thousands of patients nationwide with leukemia, lymphoma, other blood cancers and severe sickle cell disease depend on the Be The Match registry to find a donor for their treatment. The St. Pat’s Committee and Love Your Melon student group will host a Be The Match bone marrow registry drive 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29-Friday, Feb. 1, outside the St. Pat’s Ballroom in the Havener Center.
