Online calendar – your event goes here

Planning an event? Post it on calendar.mst.edu, Missouri S&T’s official events calendar. Adding an event is simple; click the orange “submit an event” button. You’ll be asked to sign in with your university ID and password and then you can include the time, date and other details about the S&T event that you’d like people to attend. The calendar is published in several places on Missouri S&T’s website and feeds to the main website. Visit the calendar at any time to learn about the latest happenings on campus.

Department spotlight: Military Science-Army ROTC

The U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Stonehenge Battalion at S&T helps prepare students to become successful Army officers. Based in Harris Hall, nine staff members support the department. The military science department provides an academic curriculum that supplements a student’s major and is designed to prepare students for service as commissioned officers in the U.S. Army and its Reserve components (the Army Reserve and Army National Guard).

Passing of Don Brackhahn

Donald G. Brackhahn, former executive director of the Miner Alumni Association, died Monday, April 1. He joined the S&T staff in 1985 and retired 2002. Brackhahn and his wife, Nancy, have been longtime supporters of S&T, the alumni association and Miner athletics. Funeral arrangements are pending.

April 1 is registration deadline for transportation infrastructure conference

Celebrate poetry month with professor’s poems

Dr. Agnes Vojta, a teaching professor of physics, is celebrating the release of her first book of poems, titled Porous Land. She will give a reading at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Hall. This event is part of a series of events to celebrate National Poetry Month in April at S&T.
