Missouri S&T plans to resume in-person classes this fall

Missouri S&T plans to resume its on-campus residential program in the fall, while continuing to follow the recommended best-health practices to suppress the spread of COVID-19. Although planning is underway for the return of students to campus this fall, university officials are mapping out a phased approach for the return of the many faculty and staff who are currently working remotely.

Remote work to continue for most S&T staff

Missouri S&T staff should not return to campus to work on Monday, May 4, unless required by their supervisors to do so. While the state of Missouri’s stay-at-home order will expire Monday, most Missouri S&T employees will continue to work remotely until called in according to the repopulation plan.

S&T extends fall acceptance deadline to June 1

Missouri S&T will continue to accept students for the fall 2020 semester through June 1 in response to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The university previously announced a May 1 acceptance deadline for the fall semester.
