The S&T IT Help Desk walk-in location in Curtis Laws Wilson Library will move to summer hours on Monday, May 26. The walk-in location will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone and chat support will still be available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Read More »Miner ID cards transition away from magnetic strip
Beginning Monday, June 2, the magnetic strip on newly printed ID cards will no longer be active. Most campus card readers already use the more secure RFID chip technology. By this fall, S&T will transition to cards without a magnetic strip on the back.

Check out WOWZA! Wednesdays
WOWZA! Wednesdays give instructors a weekly opportunity to meet over lunch to view and discuss tools, technologies and tricks of the trade that bring a wow factor to the classroom. Sessions will be held noon-1 p.m. every Wednesday, June 4 through July 23, in Room G-11 Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

BitLocker is a security feature of the Microsoft Windows operating system. The S&T IT team enabled BitLocker on groups of Windows computers over the last several months. On Thursday, May 22, S&T IT will activate BitLocker on all remaining managed computers.
