Heating outage in Toomey Hall rescheduled for this week
Crews working on last week’s planned heating outage in Toomey Hall discovered a leak in the building’s heating system that requires additional repairs. As a result, Toomey Hall will experience another temporary heating outage beginning Monday afternoon, Sept. 29. Heating service is expected to be restored by Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 1.

Learn about gravitational waves at physics lecture Oct. 9
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first detection of gravitational waves, physics will host a public lecture about the topic and its connection to black holes. The lecture will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in Hasselmann Alumni House. The event is free and open to the public.
