The Reduced Shakespeare Company’s performance of “Hamlet’s Big Adventure” on Sunday, Jan. 23, is being postponed along with all of the production’s January tour dates due to the recent surge in COVID cases. A new date has not yet been announced.

Leach Theatre Step Challenge begins next week
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 11, Leach Theatre’s 15,000-step step challenge takes place 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday through Feb. 17. During this time, the walkways, aisles, and 180 steps in the theatre, as well as steps and walkways on both levels of Castleman Hall, will be available to S&T faculty, staff and students for competitive indoor exercise.

Cops and brothers adopt three families for the holidays
Santa had a little help this year from four S&T fraternities and University Police. Members of the Tau Kappa Epsilon, Sigma Tau Gamma, Kappa Sigma and Sigma Pi fraternities and police officers joined forces to adopt three local families for the holidays. Rolla acoustic duo raising funds on Christmas Eve for typhoon disaster relief
Members of the military science department invite the S&T community to help raise funds for people who were impacted by the Odette (Rai) typhoon in the Philippines. The Velvet Bricks, a Rolla acoustic duo featuring S&T’s own Rophel Eckert, will perform live on Facebook at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24.
