The Chancellor’s Leadership Academy will host a “Trunk or Treat” this Halloween to provide a safe and fun place for kids 6th grade and under to trick or treat. Organizations will have cars decorated and parked in the Residential College parking lot near Dairy Queen on University Drive from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.

Ally training is for individuals who have already completed Safe Space training and wish to expand their knowledge and explore how to serve as allies to members of the GLBTIQ2A community. This semester’s Ally Training will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center.

The 2011 Vendor Fair will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. Come visit with Show-Me Shop contracted and minority vendors and learn about the new “shopper only” role in the Show-Me Shop. Stop by to enter door prize drawings. Snacks will be available.

Students from Missouri S&T recently participated in the 8th International Phytotechnologies Conference held Sept. 13-16, in Portland, Ore. A poster presented by Matt Limmer titled “Long-Term Monitoring of Chlorinated Ethenes in Trees: Seasonal Variation,” received second place for best poster presentation.
