The January hiring workshop will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the HR Conference Room in 206 Centennial Hall. Reserve your spot by contacting Karen Chapman at 341-6314 or chapman@mst.edu.
Workshops are held on the first Tuesday and third Wednesday of every month for faculty and staff who conduct, assist or participate in the hiring process for faculty or staff positions. They cover faculty and staff hiring guidelines, UM system and campus affirmative action policies, UM System’s interviewing policy, reference checking and disposition codes.
Faculty and staff involved in the recruiting or hiring process must attend a workshop prior to interviewing candidates for vacant positions. Attendance to one workshop per year is required.
