It’s that time of year again. University Police is raising funds during November for the annual Cops Care and Shop with a Cop program. Be on alert for the traveling “Chief Roberts” (a cardboard cutout of University Police Chief Doug Roberts).

Wind symphony to perform Nov. 9
The wind symphony, directed by Dr. David Samson, will perform its fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, in Leach Theatre. Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth up to age 18 and S&T students with a valid ID.

Missouri S&T will host a celebration to unveil a statue honoring benefactor Gary Havener at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the Rolla Building Pedestrian Plaza. The statue commemorates Havener’s historic $25 million gift, which made the Havener Arrival Complex possible.
