Emmanuel Djegou, a native of Benin, a West African nation, and a candidate for a Ph.D. in statistics at S&T, will speak about the town of Ganvié at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3. Djegou will speak about Ganvié, which is built entirely on stilts in Lake Nokoué and known to many as the Venice of West Africa. His lecture will be in French.
