As part of the S&T’s celebration of Women’s History Month, the history and political science department will present a special lecture, titled “How women of study shape early American Egyptology: The pioneering contributions of Emma Andrews and Caroline Ransom Williams,” by Dr. Kathleen Sheppard. Help S&T Engineers Without Borders change lives in Bolivia
A group from the Missouri S&T Engineers Without Borders design team has received approval to travel in late May to a community of 200 in Urkupiña, Bolivia. Currently, the community relies on purchasing unsanitary, bottled water from a nearby city as their main source of clean water. Students will drill a well and design a water distribution system for the community, providing easy access to fresh, clean water.
