A group of seniors in biological sciences are coordinating a campus recycling drive. Bring recyclables 2-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, Nov. 1-18, to the Havener Center and get a free sticker.

As part of the construction of S&T’s Arrival District, a power outage is scheduled starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. The outage will affect the Havener Center, Engineering Management Building, Bertelsmeyer Hall, Rolla Building and Castleman Hall and will last approximately eight hours.

S&T orchestra performs Nov. 6
The University Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Kyle Wernke, will perform its fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in Leach Theatre. The program includes Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2 in C minor, and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in D minor, K. 466, with guest soloist Dr. Lorie Francis, associate teaching professor of music.

Watch for helicopters
The Army National Guard and S&T’s Army ROTC will conduct several landings and take offs with Black Hawk helicopters at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the former Miner Golf Course, located along West 10th Street near Innovation Park and Phelps Health in Rolla.
