Four Missouri S&T Ph.D. students won all poster awards at the third annual NextGen Pathways Symposium, held March 12-13. The symposium featured 42 poster presenters from across the University of Missouri System and focused on research to improve health outcomes.

A shot above the rest: Owen Fraser wins national title, keeps 4.0 GPA

Missouri S&T now has a national champion in shot put: Owen Fraser. Fraser is the first national champion in the shot put and first indoor national champion in S&T program history with a throw of 19.25 meters during the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in March.

S&T PetroBowl team wins North American championship

Petroleum engineering students from Missouri S&T have proven they are the best in North America when it comes to trivia related to their major. The Missouri S&T PetroBowl team won the 2026 Society of Petroleum Engineers North America Student Symposium PetroBowl championship, held Feb. 28 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Missouri S&T students exhibit research to state legislators
