IT Help Desk announces spring break hours

The IT Help Desk phone service will be available during normal business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the break. Woman of the Year nominations due March 24

Nominations are being accepted for the 2017 Woman of the Year Award. This annual award recognizes female, full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty who serve as valuable role models for female students at Missouri S&T. Nominations for women’s advocate award due March 24

Observatory to host visitors’ night March 21

The Missouri S&T Observatory will open its doors at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, for viewing the Beehive Cluster, one of the brightest and nearest open star clusters in the sky. It is in the constellation Cancer, observed as early as the first century by Claudius Ptolemy.

Sign your child up on March 21 for swimming lessons

Children ages 4 and older can take swimming lessons from the Miner Swim Team April 3-13 at the S&T Pool in the Gale Bullman Building. Signups for the lessons will be held 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Missouri S&T Pool and will be limited to the first 90 applicants. Session preference is on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the lessons is $85 per swimmer.
