Share your thoughts on donated leave program

The University of Missouri System is looking into the possibility of creating a donated leave program, and Missouri S&T representatives of the UM System committee want to hear thoughts on the program from faculty and staff. Cuba Plain, interim vice chancellor of finance and operations, will host open forums at the following times and locations:

Sexual Assault Awareness Week begins today

Sexual Assault Awareness Week (SAAW) will be observed at Missouri S&T from Monday, Nov. 6, through Friday, Nov. 10. To show support for ending sexual assault, activities during the week will include the booth outside the library, where individuals can pick up a “not on our campus” wristband or ride a seesaw to show support for victims.

The week will begin with “Experience Space in Virtual Reality,” 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, in the Havener Center atrium. Funeral arrangements for Andrew McCullough announced

Andrew McCullough, a senior in applied mathematics and computer science from Lubbock, Texas, and formerly of Raymore, Missouri, died Tuesday, Oct. 31. McCullough was a member of the Gaming Association and was a Student Council representative. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., in Raymore. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, with interment following at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Boy Scouts of America.
