Flags to fly at half-staff

By order of Gov. Eric Greitens, all flags at all Missouri state and government offices will be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset Monday, March 12, in honor of Christopher R. Morton. A police officer, Morton died in the line of duty on March 6.

Sunday is Make A Wish Day at S&T

Congested parking expected in Lot B

Hundreds of visitors will be on campus in the coming days for the following events: transfer student advising today (March 8), and Discovery Days on Friday, March 9, and Monday, March 12. The parking operations staff asks for your patience and understanding as parking lots may fill quickly, especially Lot B. Apply by March 23 for social justice training

The University of Missouri System diversity, equity and inclusion office will sponsor training with faculty from the Social Justice Training Institute Monday, April 9, and Tuesday, April 10 in Columbia. The training, “Creating an Inclusive, Socially Just Campus,” is open to faculty, staff and graduate students from across the UM System and will be capped at 35 participants. Applications are due by Friday, March 23. Apply online.

There have been several calls for proposals for mini-grant funding opportunities at Missouri S&T, including educational research mini-grants, curriculum development grants, and eFellows grants. If you are interested in these programs, but have a hard time keeping them straight or knowing which one may be the best fit, you are not alone.
