UCLA researcher to present talk Feb. 21

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) invites the campus community to attend a guest lecture by Dr. Guarav Sant 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in Room 317 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The presentation is titled “Isothermal Stimulation of Mineral Dissolution Processes by Acoustic Perturbation.”

Be prepared for winter weather

The National Weather Service in Springfield, Missouri, has issued a winter weather advisory through midnight tonight. The advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving. Missouri S&T is currently open. If a decision is made to close campus or cancel classes, students, faculty and staff will be notified via email and text. Check alert.mst.edu for winter weather tips and information on cancellations or university closings.

Parking lot M to remain open Monday
